WE FOUND OUT WHEN OUR SON WAS 7 MONTHS OLD THAT HE HAD COARCTATION OF THE AORTA.HE HAD THE SURGERY TO REPAIR THIS IN SEPTEMBER 2003 WHEN HE WAS 17 MONTHS OLD AND IS NOW FIGHTING FIT.
I WILL NEVER FORGET THE WAIT AND THE HEARTACHE WHEN WAITING FOR THE OPERATION AND WHILE HE WAS IN SURGERY.I KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO WONDER EACH DAY IF HE WOULD BE HERE THIS TIME NEXT YEAR.
