hi, i have a daughter age 16 who has t.o.f + 22q11 syndrome. she has been though a lot over the years but is doing well now.if anyone has been though the same it would be nice to talk. take care everyone xx

i was born with dextrocardia and situs inversus. i am now 40 years old and have lived a normal very active life with two children concieved completely naturally despite the doctors saying infertility is linked very highly with the condition. i have just reached the stage where i would to give any advice or support to others and communicate with others maybe older than me with the condition.

Hi. I'm Mum to a 9 year old born with TOF, he's had 2 lots of o h surgery so far. The last oct 04. Unfortunately his new valve is already quite leaky and we are worried that we will be facing more surgery earlier than we would have hoped. it gets more difficult for him as he gets older. Would love contact with other families of TOF children around the same age. Thankyou. x

I would love to talk to maria chebrika. My sister was born with a hyperplastic left ventrical as well. Today she is almost 19 years old and healthy. She was 2 weeks old when she had her first surgery and 2 and a half when she had her last one. Please e-mail me and we can talk.

I was born with dextra cardia and situs inversus. found out about it at 21 years. nomedical problems other than asthma between ages 10 and 18. Doctors never noticed my heart was on right side even with x-rays taken in childhood, can you understand that? Asthma gone after a move from this valley. I have 6 children youngest is 26. I am 64 years old and no health problems, thank God. I came back to the area where I first had asthma because I have family here and have had sinus problems something awful but its common in this agricultural valley. I plan a move soon again. I was checked at major medical university and found no problems other than to confirm all my organs are like looking in a mirror, opposite side. I do have pains in my back and neck, work injuries working as a hospice care nurse, and am seeing a chiropractor for that, this is unrelated to the situs inversus. I hope others with no syptoms but know they have situs inversus will feel encouraged. I feel I have had a normal life.

hi i wrote in on July to say my daughter Nicole was going to have surgery for sub-aortic stenoisis well i'm pleased to say Nicole has went through her op and was out of hospital within 1 week it is now October and she is doing well
