First of all, I would like to introduce myself. Im Lorraine Sarmiento 22 year old mother from the Philippines. I'm writing to you because I would
like to know if you can help my daughter who has Atrial Septal Defect in anyway you can. I've been browsing for charities who can somehow help me
and one of the site is yours. My 3 y.o. daughter was diagnosed to have atrial
septal defect and this 30th of march we went to her pedia-cardiologist for her 2decho because she heard a 2nd heart murmur and found out that its coming from her cleft mitrial valves (congenital mitral regurgitaion). The doctor advised us to have an open heart surgery as soon as possible because the complications might affect her in someway and will be too dangerous for her. I know that you can't trust me for now but this is the only option I know to help me have my daughter live a healthier life. If
you want any documents or anything to support my plea, please email me. I'll be more than willing to send you any information and/ or laboratory tests

My 20 month old son Connor was diagnosed with TOF at 4 months, at 6 months he had a BT shunt and we are now waiting on his full heart repair, we have been told it will be done within the next 9 months.
Would love to hear from any other mums in the same situation. Anyone waiting to go into Yorkhill?

My 14 month daughter Lily,otherwise apparently healthy and active, has just had her heart murmur checked out (3rd time) and they now know it is due to a mild valve thickening. Nervously awaiting follow up appointment in Leeds. Anyone been in a similar posiyion,? feel like we rae completely in dark!

i would love to hear more about susie from edinburgh daughter, my son now six had transposition corrected when he was very little, drs dont want him to play football, wondered if you had stopped your daughter doing anything or if she knew herself if she had done too much ??? anyone else with any advice please feel free to contact me thanks xx
